Tom Cruise And Katie Holmes Great Couple: Project Runway' mentor Tim Gunn has in his new book said that Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes should not dress their daughter Suri in heels as it is "sick".

Suri, 4, has been photographed many times sporting a pair of high-heeled shoes, which Holmes, 31, explained are ballroom dancing shoes for children. But Gunn, 57, has in his book, titled Gunn's Golden Rules, said the footwear is not appropriate.

"It's outrageous. People say, 'She's setting a fashion standard.' I say, 'Preposterous!' At three? It's not appropriate," News.com.au quoted Gunn as writing. "If you're going to the playground to play, you should wear sneakers - Mary Janes at the very most.

Tom Cruise And Katie Holmes Togather: Tom Cruise keeps the romance alive in his five-year marriage to actress Katie Holmes by showering his wife with flowers.

The "Batman Begins" star admits her thoughtful husband never fails when it comes to brightening her day with blooms. She tells Parade, "My husband has red roses for me everywhere I go and whenever we travel."

Holmes also enjoys her role as a mother for her and Cruise's 4-year-old daughter Suri. She says, "Being a mother is so dreamy.

You have to keep the activities up but she's so comfortable and she loves to sing and dance."

Holmes recently revealed that both she and Cruise always spend time together amid their busy schedule. She shared, "We have quite a schedule, you know?

We don't say, 'When I'm working, you don't work,' or anything like that. Last year he was shooting 'Knight & Day' and I was shooting 'The Romantics", and we'd just fly to see each other after we wrapped."

Problems arise because the bride and the maid of honor have had a long rivalry over the groom."

Tom Cruise And James McAvoy Get Togather: Back in July Guillermo del Toro confirmed he'd settled on Lovecraft's At the Mountains of Madness as his next project after bowing out of directing The Hobbit. Now Collider's reporting del Toro is interested in having Tom Cruise take on the lead in Madness, playing geologist William Dyer in the big screen adaptation of the 1931 novella.

However, Cruise isn't the studio's top choice for the role according to Collider. Universal Pictures wants James McAvoy to star in the action epic to be shot in 3-D and produced by none other than James Cameron. del Toro and Cruise had been working on a reboot of Van Helsing which never went anywhere, but apparently it left both men wanting to do something together - even if it isn't Van Helsing related. Cruise isn't a sure thing anymore at the box office, with his latest action film, Knight & Day, posting disappointing numbers domestically. And with the studio wanting to go another direction in casting, del Toro may not get his way. But, who knows? At the Mountains of Madness isn't going to go before the cameras until sometime next year and a lot could happen between now and then.

Tom Cruise And James McAvoy: The Mountains of Madness: Tom Cruise is put in a kind of duel with James McAvoy. Collider reports that Guillermo del Toro wants the "Knight & Day" actor to star in his flick "At the Mountains of Madness", but Universal Pictures does not show similar attitude.

In fact, the studio wants the "Wanted (2008)" star to take the lead role in the movie, sources say. Beside the two, Chris Pine was also thrown among the contenders to take the important part. However, the "Star Trek" thesp is said to have had busy schedule which might have forced him to leave the competition.

Tom Cruise Perform In His New Movie With Paula Patton: EW has confirmed that Paula Patton (Precious) has signed onto the new Mission: Impossible movie as the female lead. (Deadline.com first reported the story.) According to a source close to the film — which stars Tom Cruise and Jeremy Renner, is produced by Cruise and J.J. Abrams, and will be directed by Brad Bird (The Incredibles) — it will not be a “reboot” as has been reported, but it won’t be titled Mission: Impossible IV  either.

As for Patton, she’s reportedly playing an up-and-coming agent working with Cruise’s Ethan Hunt. But since the film’s plot will likely remain locked in a pressure-temperature-and-sound-sensitive vault until much closer to the movie’s expected Dec. 16, 2011 release, Patton’s character could be anything from Keri Russell’s character in the Abrams directed Mission: Impossible III (i.e. a platonic teammate), to Emmanuelle Béart’s role from 1996′s Mission: Impossible (i.e. a seductress and double agent). So let’s wildly speculate and write Patton’s first scene.

Lately, it was rumoured that Cruise and Beckham real life friendship will be seen in reel life as well. The rumours sparked after the Hollywood hunk praised the sports star for his looks and admitted that he is ‘encouraging him to become an actor’.
