Tom Cruise takes the lead in this new poster for Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol also featuring Jeremy Renner and Paula Patton.
Here’s the synopsis for the film: “This is not just another mission. The IMF is shut down when it’s implicated in a global terrorist bombing plot. Ghost Protocol is initiated and Ethan Hunt and his rogue new team must go undercover to clear their organization’s name. No help, no contact, off the grid. You have never seen a mission grittier and more intense than this.”
The Brad Bird-directed action flick will begin previews in IMAX starting Friday, December 16 before hitting theaters worldwide on December 21. The fourth installment of the franchise features about 30 minutes of scenes shot with IMAX cameras, with those specific sequences expanding “to fill the entire screen … and further immerse the audience in the explosive action and vast scope of the film,” according to a press release.
