Is is just us or does Tom Cruise look seriously bizarre on the June cover of W? Let’s discuss. Cruise plays a fictional rockstar named Stacee Jaxx in the upcoming musical-turned-film Rock of Ages, and he’s brought the same persona to his W cover. Celebuzz got an exclusive look at the cover, and we think it’s totally weird! The long hair, the guyliner, the six-pack, the tattoos, the ladies — the whole thing just looks bizarre.
But we assume what’s really bothering us is the lack of lines on the 49-year-old actor’s face and his weirdly perfect bod. Hey, Photoshop! Also, he looks like a lady with that wax face and all that eyeliner. The makeup artists even lined his waterline!
However, not everyone thinks that the cover’s awkward. Models Edita Vilkeviciute and Abbey Lee Kershaw share the cover and are all up on that man-candy, but Katie Holmes doesn’t need to worry. Refinery29 reports that the spouses share a rather steamy spread inside the issue. And what is going on with Kershaw’s neck? Either she has a freakishly long neck that we’ve never noticed or it’s another Photoshop job gone wrong. We’re going with the latter.
