Tom Cruise will return to "The Oprah Winfrey Show" next month for the first time since he famously jumped on the host's couch in May 2005 to profess his love for new girlfriend Katie Holmes.

The actor will promote the 25th anniversary of his classic film "Risky Business" during a two-part episode scheduled to air May 2 and May 5, during which colleagues will surprise him with taped messages honoring his work in movies.

Part one will feature an interview with Cruise from his home in Telluride, Colo. He'll talk about his "family, his life and the future," according to a statement Thursday from Harpo Productions.      

In the second episode, Cruise will appear in Winfrey's Chicago studio. No word if Oprah will haul out the same couch that withstood all of Cruise's shenanigans three years ago.
